Editor-in-Chief: Whitney Cooper
Whitney Cooper, a Georgia native, is a graduate of Georgia State University. She currently lives in the Jacksonville, FL area and is a student in the Bluegrass Writers Studio low -res MFA program. An avid nature person, she writes poetry and paints in her spare time, all about nature. She’s traveled to Italy (where her family is from), Portugal (for the BGWS international residency), and Japan (for fun!). She loves animals, especially cats.
Alumni Editor: Tricia Coscia
Tricia Coscia lives in Pennsylvania, graduated in 2018 from the Bluegrass Writers Studio MFA Program, and attended both the domestic and international summer residencies. Her poems have appeared in A & U: America’s AIDS Magazine, the anthology Literature from the First Twenty Years of A&U (Black Lawrence Press), Connecticut River Review, Many Colored Brooms, Parting Gifts (March Street Press), Peregrine Journal, and elsewhere. Her chapbook, The Face You Draw into Your Skin is Not Your Own, was published in 2018 by Finishing Line Press. She is a strong advocate for social and environmental justice, inspired by years of work in supporting humanitarian causes, and currently works for Witness to Innocence, a program that supports and empowers death-row exonerees in their advocacy to end the death penalty.
Creative Nonfiction Editor: Eric Willis
Eric Willis is a student of the Bluegrass Writers Studio MFA program at Eastern Kentucky University. He is a writer, artist, pharmacist, and avid amateur pickleball player living in Lexington, Kentucky with one cat, one dog, one fish, and one awesome fellow human being.
Fiction Editor: JP Hyde
JP Hyde is an emerging writer and educator whose work has appeared in the award-winning Literary Magazine of the Year genesis. His fiction places emphasis on transgressive, existential, and absurdist themes. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Film Studies from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and currently attends Eastern Kentucky University’s Bluegrass Writers Workshop MFA program. As of fall of 2020, he acts as Jelly Bucket’s Fiction Editor. When he isn’t writing or editing, he can be found composing various music projects.
A born and bred Hoosier, he currently lives in Indianapolis where he continues to work on his manuscript for a novel.
Poetry Editor: Jacob Holley-Kline
Jacob Holley-Kline, originally from Alaska, is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage. He lives with his husband, Misha, their two cats, Ray and Yennefer, and their dog Vinnie. Jacob got his start in spoken word poetry, and has an especial love for horror movies and books. He spends much of his free time cooking, keeping house, and marathoning old movies.
